Baekje Cultural Land, Korea’s largest historical theme park located in Buyeo County, South Chungcheong Province,
opened in 2010 to preserve and exhibit the history and culture of the Baekje Kingdom (18 BC – 660 AD).
The complex features life-size reconstructions of key Baekje-era structures, including palaces, temples, and noble residences, to foster a deeper understanding of Baekje culture.
Key attractions include Sabi Palace, a replica of the Baekje royal palace; Neungsa Temple, restored based on excavation research; the magnificent Five-Story Stone Pagoda; and the tombs of Baekje nobles.
The Baekje capital, Wiryeseong Fortress, is also recreated, offering a glimpse into Baekje’s history and cultural evolution through the ages.
The daily performance “The Birth of the Seven Maps” showcases the dynamism of Baekje culture.
Baekje Cultural Land is the venue for the annual Baekje Cultural Festival, a beloved space for both domestic and international tourists to experience history and culture.
