Boseong Green Tea Fields, located in Boseong-eup, Boseong County, South Jeolla Province, is Korea’s largest green tea plantation.
Established around 1957, it currently boasts over 5.8 million tea trees.
At Daehan Dawon, the representative plantation, visitors can stroll through the vast green tea fields and admire the lush green scenery.
From the tea field observatory, visitors can also see the Boseong ocean. A variety of green tea-related experience programs and amenities are available, creating a cultural space where visitors can enjoy both tea and nature.
The terraced green tea fields along the mountainside create a beautiful, undulating landscape, often appearing as a filming location for dramas and commercials.
Boseong Green Tea Fields hosts various cultural events, including the Boseong Tea Festival and the Winter Light Festival, held around the end of May each year.
Admission is approximately 4,000 won for adults.
