Goseokjeong Pavilion (Goseokjeong Pavilion) is a two-story pavilion located in the Hantangang River Valley in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province. It is said to have been built during the reign of King Jinpyeong of Silla (579-632).
A unique granite rock, approximately 10-15 meters high, called “Goseok” rises in the middle of the river, surrounded by the clear waters of the Hantangang River.
The pavilion was first built between 579 and 632 during the Silla Dynasty. The current two-story pavilion, restored in 1971, is protected as a Gangwon-do Monument.
Goseokjeong Pavilion has a dock, offering boat rides.
