Gwangjingyo Observatory, also known as Riverview 8th Avenue, is a unique Hangang River observatory and cultural complex located beneath Gwangjingyo Bridge in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
It is one of the world’s rare observatories beneath a bridge, and its glass-enclosed observation deck offers panoramic views of the Hangang River, downtown Seoul, Achasan Mountain, and other riverside landmarks.

Live performances are held every Friday and weekend night, and admission is by lottery.
Operating hours are 12:00-20:00 from April to October, and 12:00-18:00 in March and November. The observatory is closed on Mondays, Lunar New Year’s Day, and Chuseok.
Admission is free, and it offers a unique opportunity for visitors to enjoy the artistic beauty of Seoul’s Hangang River and cityscape.
