Hallasan National Park is a national park centered around Hallasan Mountain, the highest peak in South Korea (1,950m above sea level), located in the center of Jeju Island. It is Jeju Island’s representative natural tourist destination, offering beautiful scenery and diverse ecosystems. It is especially popular as a winter snow hiking destination. *Hiking Courses: Seongpanak Trail (9.6km), Gwaneumsa Trail (8.7km), etc. It takes 5-6 hours round trip to the summit

*Hours: 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily (subject to seasonal changes)
Hiking and Exploration Tips
*Hiking Hallasan Mountain offers seasonal scenery along Jeju’s diverse vegetation zones. *The hiking course is generally gentle, but weather near the summit can be quite unpredictable, so advance preparation (windproof and waterproof gear, etc.) is necessary. The summit (Baengnokdam) is famous for its crater, lake, and panoramic views of Jeju Island.
*Advance reservation system introduced (for Baengnokdam hikes): Reservations can be made by course or date on the official website.
*The park features amenities such as public restrooms and wheelchair-accessible parking.
