화담숲
Hwadam Forest is an eco-friendly arboretum located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.
Created by the LG Evergreen Foundation, the forest preserves approximately 4,300 species of domestic and foreign plants, divided into 17 themed gardens. “Hwadam” signifies “harmonious dialogue,” where people and nature interact.

This space offers a natural environment where visitors can experience diverse plants and ecosystems. Each area features a different plant theme, such as the Moss Garden, Pine Garden, and Rock Garden, offering beautiful scenery year-round. Visitors can conveniently explore the entire forest by walking along the forest trails or riding the dedicated monorail. Admission fees vary by season and are open to all ages, from children to seniors. Closed on Mondays. Hwadam Forest is a healing destination where visitors can enjoy nature and find healing in the forest. It is particularly popular during the fall foliage and spring cherry blossom seasons.
