Busan’s Igidae coastal cliffs are a scenic spot where you can experience both beautiful natural scenery and geological value.
These beautiful coastal cliffs were formed approximately 80 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period, combining traces of volcanic activity with coastal erosion.

*Location: Yongho-dong, Nam-gu, Busan
*Walking Trail: Igidae Coastal Trail (approximately 3.95 km, 2 hours) connects Dongsaengmal → Nolbawi → Oryukdo Sunrise Park, etc.
*Geology: Mesozoic Cretaceous volcanic and sedimentary rocks, sea caves, wave-cut platforms, and other geological attractions related to copper.
*Beautiful coastal cliffs, wave scenery, and natural ecosystem observations are available. *Formerly a military operation site, it was opened to the public in 1993 and is now a nature reserve.
*Nearby attractions: Views of Oryukdo, Gwangan Bridge, and Yongdusan Park. *Visit Tip: Enjoy the walking trail along the coastal cliffs and stunning coastal views.
This area features a variety of volcanic and pyroclastic rocks, sea caves, and coastal terraces carved by waves. It is one of the best natural scenic spots for viewing Gwangan Bridge and Haeundae Beach.
