인왕산 숲속쉼터
Inwangsan Shelter in the Woods is a rest area located at the foot of Inwangsan Mountain in Cheongun-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
It was reinterpreted as the Inwang Three Guard Post, a former military guard post, and opened to the public in 2021.
The original concrete structure was preserved, with a wooden structure built over it, transforming it into a unique space that is both eco-friendly and historically significant. Large windows offer panoramic views of the surrounding Inwangsan forest, and the interior and exterior are designed to blend seamlessly with nature, creating a space for comfortable relaxation, reading, and reflection.
The shelter is open weekdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Mondays and during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.
Located midway along the trail, it is popular not only with hikers but also with visitors seeking a quiet respite in the city.
