Jusanji (Jusan Reservoir) is a man-made reservoir located within Juwangsan National Park in Budong-myeon, Cheongsong County, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. It is a pristine natural attraction visited by photographers, tourists, and hikers year-round.
150-year-old willow trees grow deep within the reservoir, creating a beautiful landscape of water and trees.
The freshness of the willows and the reflection of the autumn leaves on the water are particularly striking in spring and fall. In winter, the mist and ice create a mystical landscape.
Jusanji is a designated geological heritage site within the Cheongsong UNESCO Global Geopark and Korea’s 105th Scenic Site.
Around the reservoir, around 30 willow trees, some over 150 years old, have taken root, creating a fantastical mist and breathtaking seasonal scenery.
It became famous nationwide after being featured as a filming location for the movie “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring.”
