Jeju Folk Village is a traditional cultural experience village located on Minsokhaean-ro in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. It recreates the lifestyle of Jeju Island in the late 19th century and the late Joseon Dynasty.
Over 100 traditional Jeju houses and folk culture provide a vivid glimpse into the lives of Jeju people in the past.
Location and Operation Information
*Location: 631-34 Minsokhaean-ro, Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province
*Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (April – September), 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (October – February), hours may vary by season
*Admission: KRW 15,000 for adults, KRW 12,000 for teenagers, KRW 11,000 for children

*Reproductions of traditional Jeju houses, fishing villages, mountain villages, and mid-mountainous areas
*Folk craft demonstrations (blacksmithing, pottery, farming tool making, etc.), traditional weddings, and folk performances
*Hanbok experience, traditional games (Yutnori, Jegichagi, Tuho, etc.), classroom-centered theme halls and exhibition halls
*Enjoy nature walks among Jeju’s seasonal wildflowers and trees, medicinal herb gardens, and stone wall paths
*Traditional market and food experience center Makgeolli and local cuisine sampling are also available.

*Jeju’s unique stone wall paths and forest tunnels, folk markets, themed cafes, and restaurants.
*Kids’ experience zones, animal feeding, and family-friendly activities are especially popular with travelers with children.
*Restaurants within the village (serving buckwheat noodles, Korean food, snacks, etc.), and various souvenirs and handicrafts are available for purchase.
