Odong Forest Library is a public library located at 110-10 Hwarang-ro 13ga-gil, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Completed in 2023, it boasts a beautiful architecture that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings of Ulgoksan Mountain. The one-story wooden building boasts a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The unique spiral bookshelf structure and folding roof evoke the natural landscape, allowing ample light to enter the building, creating a bright and pleasant reading environment.
It serves as a leisure and study space for residents, and with its adjacent café and walking trails, it is considered a healing space where visitors can enjoy both culture and relaxation.
This space, where nature and architecture blend together, creates a space for relaxation and study, resembling a forest within itself, making it a representative cultural space in Seoul.
Operating hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on Mondays.
Accessible by bus or on foot from Sungshin Women’s University Station (Subway Line 4), no reservations are required.
