The Phoenix Jeju Glass House is a unique structure located in Seopjikoji.
Designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, it faces east with a view of the ocean, forming a two-armed gesture, offering simultaneous views of sunrise and sunset.
The building houses the Floyd Bakery Cafe and Gallery on the first floor, and the upscale restaurant “Mint” on the second floor, offering stunning ocean views. The entrance is concealed by a concrete wall, and upon stepping onto the first-floor deck, visitors are suddenly greeted by a breathtaking fusion of sea and sky.
The Glass House harmonizes nature and modern architecture, serving as a space for relaxation and meditation, immersed in the light, wind, and sounds of Jeju Island. It is also a key filming location for the film “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One.”
The café is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the restaurant is open from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM for lunch and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for dinner.
