상화원
Sanghwawon (literally “Sanghwawon”) is a traditional Korean garden located in Nampo-myeon, Boryeong-si, South Chungcheong Province.
It is a famous landmark created to protect the natural environment of the small island of Jukdo.

*Operating Hours: Open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from March to November. Admission: Approximately KRW 7,000 (2025).
Hours: Open primarily Fridays through Sundays and public holidays. Closed on weekdays and in winter.
The name Sanghwawon means “homage to harmony.” The 1km-long corridor surrounding the island is the longest in the world. It is known as one of the best gardens in Korea.
