Seorae Island is an artificial island located within Hangang Park in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The Rapeseed Flower Festival and Buckwheat Flower Festival are held in spring and fall, respectively, attracting many visitors. Its peaceful, pastoral atmosphere makes it a popular photo spot and date spot.
Well-maintained bike paths and walking trails offer leisurely strolls along the Hangang River, offering breathtaking views of the nighttime Hangang River and the city skyline.
The entire island is lined with weeping willows, and seasonal flowers, such as forsythia and rape blossoms in spring and cosmos and Chinese chives in fall, bloom, making it a beautiful walking path.
Nearby is Seorae Village, a French residential area with many European-style cafes and restaurants. Along with Banpo Hangang Park and Sebitseom Island, it is a popular Hangang Riverside tourist destination.
