수월봉
Suwolbong Peak is a small volcanic cone (oreum) standing 77 meters above sea level. Located at the westernmost tip of Jeju Island, it boasts a verdant field stretching out to the sea and is renowned for its breathtaking sunset views.
Atop Suwolbong Peak, a small pavilion called “Suwoljeong” offers visitors a panoramic view. On a clear day, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of nearby attractions, including the beautiful Chagwido Island (Jeju’s flagship island), Songaksan Mountain, and Jukdo Island. The gentle, short hiking trail makes for an easy climb. Below the summit, a small temple and coastal cliffs (Eungal) offer a wealth of natural attractions.
The sunset is particularly beautiful, making it one of Jeju Island’s top sunset spots. Free parking is available near Suwolbong Peak for convenient access. Electric bike rentals are available nearby, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding geological trails.
