The Wondae-ri Birch Forest is a natural tourist attraction located in Wondae-ri, Inje-eup, Inje-gun, Gangwon-do.
It is an artificial forest created by planting approximately 690,000 birch trees across 138 hectares between 1974 and 1995.
The forest offers two main walking trails, one lasting approximately 80 minutes and the other approximately one hour.
The dense white birch trees reach for the sky, creating a fantastical atmosphere and offering breathtaking views in each season.
The snow-covered birch forest in winter is particularly beautiful, creating a fairytale-like scene, making it a popular photo spot.
Admission is free, and parking costs 5,000 won (individually redeemable with an Inje Love Gift Certificate).
