모나 용평리조트
Yongpyong Ski Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in South Korea, located at 715 Olympic-ro, Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do.
Located between 700 and 1,458 meters above sea level, it boasts an average of 250 cm of snow annually. With 28 different slopes, 14 lifts, and one gondola, it caters to skiers of all levels, from beginners to experts.
Opened in 1975, the resort boasts one of the longest histories in Asia and is renowned for hosting the alpine skiing events of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. In addition to skiing and snowboarding facilities, the resort also offers a 45-hole golf course, a water park, various accommodations, restaurants, saunas, and other leisure facilities.
The ski season runs from mid-November to early April, with night skiing available for a variety of activities. It is also a well-known filming location for popular Korean dramas, making it a popular destination for both winter leisure and cultural experiences.
